Grupo Firme makes a one-position jump to No. 1 on Pollstar‘s LIVE75 chart after ranking second on the most recent chart based on ticket sales from the band’s three shows at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sept. 10-12. Their average ticket count of 19,356 surpasses last week’s top touring artist, Dead & Company who lands at No. 2 in this issue based on ticket averages at two shows – Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, Conn., (Sept. 5) and Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (Sept. 7). Grupo Firme retains the HEAVY HITTER status for a second consecutive week with their $1.89 million gross average from the Las Vegas performances.
Eric Church debuts with the HOT SHOT tour of the week, scoring the highest sold ticket average among the 11 artists making their first chart appearance. The first six sold-out shows on his “Gather Again” tour earn the country star the No. 3 ranking with an average of 14,296 sold seats. Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, moved 17,766 tickets at its Sept. 18 performance, the most among the first six venues. The tour, staged in the round, kicked off on Sept. 17 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. He has 49 more shows booked in North American arenas through May 2022.
