Diana Ross At Glasto

Glastonbury Festival announced that Diana Ross will perform the festival’s Legends slot next year, which traditionally takes place as part of Sunday’s schedule at teatime.
In 2022, that day will fall on June 26. Since Diana Ross will be touring the UK with her new album, Thank You, next summer, a stop at Worthy Farm, Glastonbury, only makes sense. The tour will mark the iconic singer’s first return to the UK since 2008.
Said Glastonbury co-organizer Emily Eavis: |”I’m thrilled to be able to let you know that the magnificent Diana Ross is coming to play at Glastonbury next summer. We were so excited to book such a legend for Glastonbury 2020 and are so happy that she’s the first to re-confirm for next year.”
Ms Ross is considered one of the most successful recording artists and entertainers of all time, with more than 50 number one hits around the globe and 100 million records sold.

The Killers will play on the main stage before Red Hot Chili Peppers. Other big names already announced to perform during the festival include Pearl Jam on opening night, Metallica, Faith No More, Twenty One Pilots and Imagine Dragons.

One-day tickets for Friday, July 1, are sold out, but four-day passes and one-day tickets for the other days are still available at ticketmaster.be.
Live At Leeds: In The Park Premieres
Back in the UK, Futuresound Events, the makers of Live At Leeds, announced a new outdoor iteration of the festival, dubbed Live At Leeds: In The Park.
The premiere takes place at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, June 4. Headliners Bombay Bicycle Club lead a bill that also includes Nothing But Thieves, Arlo Parks, Sea Girls, Honne and many more.
Bombay Bicycle Club last played the festival thirteen years ago, after having released its debut album, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose.
Speaking about the first edition of Live At Leeds: In The Park, festival promoter Joe Hubbard commented: “We’re incredibly excited to release the first ever Live at Leeds In the Park line up. After the most difficult couple of years it felt amazing to deliver Live at Leeds In the City this year, and following it up with this brand new event for 2022 makes the future feel really positive. Hopefully everyone loves this line up as much as us, and our loyal Live at Leeds crowd enjoy having two festivals to look forward to in 2022!”
The long-standing original, Live At Leeds: In The City, will return to the inner city of Leeds Oct. 15, 2022.
