Eagles Continue ‘Hotel California’ Tour In 2022 With New Dates

The rock legends are making another attempt at finally returning to the UK and Europe next year.

Eagles announced a new run of “Hotel California” 2022 tour dates, featuring Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill. Shows are set in Savannah, Ga.; Charlotte, N.C.; Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa, Fla.; Raleigh, N.C.; Austin, Texas; and Atlanta.

Produced by Live Nation, each night’s concert will feature a performance of the band’s landmark album Hotel California, played from beginning to end, accompanied by an orchestra and choir.  

There will be a brief intermission followed by an additional set of the band’s greatest hits. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. local time, with a variety of presales including VIP packages on sale starting Thursday, Dec. 2. The latest iteration of the Eagles’ “Hotel California” tour follows three initial 2019 shows in Las Vegas followed by more than 30 concerts in 15 U.S. cities, spanning a pandemic and last performing to two sold-out audiences at the new Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, where they sold 23,827 tickets for a gross of $4,833,129.

In addition to Seattle, Eagles performed in major American markets including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City, Dallas, Washington, D.C.; Houston, and more. The New York City concerts included five sold out shows at Madison Square Garden.

The band previously announced a summer trek to stadiums in Europe, plus a June 26 appearance at British Summer Time in London’s Hyde Park, where they will also appear with Robert Plant and Allison Krauss.

The Eagles’ Euro run begins June 17 in the Netherlands, at Arnhem’s Gelredome Stadium, before making stops at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium, Edinburgh’s BT Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.
