Eddie Vedder is ready to take his new band on the road. After making their live debut at Vedder’s own Ohana Festival in September, the Earthlings will join the Pearl Jam frontman for a run of dates in February.

The Earthlings feature drummer Chad Smith, keyboardist / guitarist / vocalist Josh Klinghoffer, bassist Chris Chaney, guitarist / vocalist Glen Hansard, and guitarist Andrew Watt. Hansard will also take the stage as a special guest to open the shows.
As for Watt, he’s also a Grammy Award-winning producer who produced Vedder’s new album, Earthling, due out Feb. 11 via Seattle Surf / Republic Records. The album marks Vedder’s first new solo project since 2011’s Ukulele Songs.
Pre-orders for the album are ongoing now.

The tour begins with two nights at the Beacon Theatre in New York Feb. 3-4 and concludes with two gigs at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall Feb. 21-22. Stops in between include New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre and The Magnolia in El Cajon, Calif.
Registration for a Ten Club presale is open now through Sunday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. PT for members active as of Nov. 30. The presale will be held through Ticketmaster’s Eddie Vedder Request page.
Verified Fan ticket registration is also open now through Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. PT via verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/eddievedder. Today’s announcement notes that there will be no general public sale.
