John Legend Announces ‘Love In Las Vegas’ 2022 Zappos Theater Residency

Hot off his “Bigger Love Tour,” John Legend has announced “Love In Las Vegas,” a Las Vegas residency at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The 24-date residency will open on April 22, 2022, and run until Oct. 29, and is being promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment.

The Las Vegas residency will see Legend performing his greatest hits alongside a full band in what a press release described as “a vibrant, colorful celebration of love and coming together.” 

The singer’s last album, Bigger Love, arrived in June 2020 and garnered him the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album. His most recent single, “You Deserve It All,” arrived in November and was Legend’s first release with Republic Records after signing to the label that same month.

Legend’s two shows at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre in September grossed a total of $1.2 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. He wrapped up his “Bigger Love Tour” on Oct. 20, with the show seeing Legend performing his latest hits from Bigger Love.

Legend appeared on Pollstar‘s year-end worldwide touring chart in 2014 and 2017, with annual grosses of $18.5 million and $20.5 million, respectively.

The Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood will also see residencies from Shania Twain, Scorpions, and Judas Priest in the next year. Twain’s two shows at the Zappos Theater on Mar. 13 and 14 ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic grossed a combined $1.1 million. Pitbull’s recent performance at the theater supported by Iggy Azalea on Sept. 18 brought in $602,503. 

Fan club members will have access to presale starting on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. PT. Citi cardmembers will also be able to purchase presale tickets on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. PT through Citi Entertainment. Caesars Rewards members and Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers will have access to presale starting Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. PT through Dec. 12 at 10 p.m. PT. Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Dec. 13 at 10 a.m.
