Florida hard-rock festival Welcome To Rockville announced the lineup Wednesday for its 2022 event, which will return to its traditional May calendar slot next year.
Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Kiss and Korn will headline the event, which will be held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla., May 19-22, 2022.
Other confirmed artists for the festival, produced by powerhouse promoter Danny Wimmer Presents, include Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, The Smashing Pumpkins, Breaking Benjamin, Megadeth, Jane’s Addiction, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Halestorm, In This Moment, Seether, Bush, Mammoth WVH and Dirty Honey.
The announcement comes just weeks after Welcome To Rockville held its 2021 edition, headlined by Metallica, Nine Inch Nails and Disturbed, in mid-November. The 2021 fest sold a total of 161,000 tickets over four days and grossed nearly $15.6 million.

Welcome To Rockville returns to Daytona Beach, Fla., in May 2022.
“Welcome To Rockville this past November was truly incredible,” said DWP founder and namesake Danny Wimmer in a statement. “Our new home, Daytona International Speedway, welcomed us with open arms and our fans showed up in record numbers and experienced an unforgettable weekend. We knew we needed to up the ante in 2022 so we went and booked the biggest lineup that has ever been booked for an American rock festival. We are so excited to welcome the biggest names in rock for one epic weekend this May.”
“OMG…is this real life?” said Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, who appeared on Pollstar‘s cover in August, in a statement. “So you’re saying that Halestorm is sharing the stage with Foo Fighters, Jane’s Addiction and The Smashing Pumpkins!! Also, not to mention Guns N’ Roses and KISS…all on the same festival! Yep! You heard it here straight from the banshee’s mouth! And we will be bringing our A-game as always. You do not want to miss this lineup! To say that Rockville is going to be legendary is an understatement…this will be a life-changing show! The countdown begins, see you all in Daytona in May!”
Foo Fighters’ festival-closing appearance will take place between the second and third dates of its 2022 North American stadium tour, which the band announced in late November.
One of the hottest promoters prior to the pandemic, Danny Wimmer Presents has also been an industry leader as concerts have returned in the wake of live’s shutdown.
The company held four festivals – Inkcarceration in Mansfield, Ohio; Louder Than Life in Louisville, Ky.; Aftershock in Sacramento, Calif.; and Welcome To Rockville – salvaging a precarious year with some of America’s most successful festivals of 2021.
“I think we’re just really fortunate that this is happening,” DWP CEO Danny Hayes told Pollstar backstage at Aftershock in October. “We’re stoked to be back at work, doing what we love.”
In March, the company spun off its sponsorship and branding department as BrandMark Agency and, in June, in acquired Billy Alan Productions.
Wimmer appeared on Pollstar‘s Impact 50 list earlier this year, and Amanda Phelan, the company’s director of talent, appeared on Pollstar‘s Impact Next Gen list in August.
Single-day and four-day passes for Welcome To Rockville are on sale now.
