AEG Europe today announced that Toby Leighton-Pope has stepped down from his role as co-CEO of AEG Presents in the UK.

Leighton-Pope joined AEG in 2016, when he was appointed joint CEO alongside Steve Homer. Prior to that, he worked at Live Nation for some 15 years, including in the role of senior vice president of music. A statement from AEG Europe says, Leighton-Pope left the company “to pursue other interests.”
Leighton-Pope has promoted tours of some of the world’s biggest acts, including Justin Bieber, Rod Stewart, The Who, Dixie Chicks, Depeche Mode, Bryan Adams, Michael BublĂ©, Van Morrisson and more. He was nominated as International Promoter of the Year at the Pollstar Awards 2016.
Steve Homer will continue to lead the division focusing on further growing the touring business and developing the roster of venues operated by AEG Presents UK. These include Wolverhampton Civic Halls and Olympia, London, both of which are undergoing multi-million-pound renovations and are set to open in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
