Brett Yormark Named COO Of Roc Nation

Brett Yormark – who has served as of co-CEO of Roc Nation Unified and President of Business Operations & Strategy since joining the company in October 2019 – has been promoted to COO of Roc Nation.
An announcement that was made Jan. 19 notes that the new role will see Yormark providing “leadership and strategic vision across Roc Nation verticals while continuing to develop and execute long-term organizational objectives to support the company’s continued growth.” He will continue to lead the full-service agency Roc Nation Unified, which offers “infrastructure services to client events, venues, and brands, along with Michael Yormark.
During his past few years at Roc Nation, Brett Yormark has established the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment and been responsible for initiatives including American Greetings, Modern Luxury (EDITION), US Open and LIU.
“There are few individuals that understand the essence of Roc Nation,” Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, said in a statement. “Brett Yormark has proven to be a fearless leader and will be dynamic in the role of COO. His proven track record ensures that Roc Nation will be in a prime position to expand our business and influence in the years to come.”
Before joining the company, Brett collaborated with Roc Nation for nearly 15 years as the CEO of BSE Global, which is the parent company of Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets, NBA G League team the Long Island Nets, and its NBA 2K League affiliate NetsG. His tenure as CEO included overseeing the rebranding of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, the opening and development of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and the reopening of New York’s Webster Hall.
