Baja Beach Fest announced its 2022 lineup featuring Annual AA, Banda Ms, Daddy Yankee and more
Baja Beach Fest will be returning to Rosarito Beach, Mexico for two weekends in August and has announced this year’s lineup featuring Anuel AA, Farruko, Banda MS, Wisin Y Yandel, Daddy Yankee, Maluma and more.
The festival’s lineup will remain the same over both weekends, with the first weekend taking place from Aug. 12–14 and weekend two taking place Aug. 19–21. Myke Towers, Natanael Cano, Sech, Jhay Cortez, Arcángel, El Alfa, Natti Natasha, and more.
Baja Beach Fest was able to return in 2021 with two weeks last August, making it the festival’s third iteration since it first debuted in 2018. Last year saw performances from Ozuna, Anuel AA, J Balvin, Farruko, Becky G, Sech, Karol G and more.
Festival founders and promoters Chris Den Uijl and Aaron Ampudia sat down with Pollstar in September to discuss how they were able to return in 2021. Last year saw them implementing a mask mandate, creating a strategic partnership with a COVID testing center, and confirming vaccination in order to comply with COVID regulations.
2021 had been the first time Baja Beach Fest expanded into two weekends, with Ampudia telling Pollstar that it had been “the most challenging thing we’ve done.” Following the success of hosting two weekends last year, Ampudia and Uijl opted to go ahead and continue hosting two weekends of the festival going forward.
Last year also saw Baja Beach Fest bringing in a Ferris wheel that allowed for fans to see the entire festival once they reached the top.
Three-day passes for the event are currently onsale via the festival’s website, with GA tickets starting at $369 and VIP tickets selling for $549.
