Event Genius Signs Leading Events In Spain & Portugal

All events that are part of the Cruïlla universe have partnered with Event Genius.

Event technology company Event Genius has signed multiple new clients, including Sónar Lisboa and Neopop in Portugal, and Cruïlla and Florida 135 in Spain.

The partnership will give these events access to Event Genius’ end-to-end solutions for ticketing, access control, travel, marketing and cashless payments. All deals were signed for a three-year period, a spokesperson told Pollstar.
Sónar Lisboa is the latest addition to the global Sónar festival family. It debuts in the Portuguese capital April 8-10. Performances take place across multiple venues in the city, and promoters expect some 25,000 fans per day.
Event Genius will also have a part to play in the 15th edition of techno festival Neopop, taking place in Viana do Castelo, Aug. 10-14.
In neighboring Spain, Event Genius has signed Cruïlla, the company behind the annual 25,000-cap festival by the same name in the Catalan capital of Barcelona. The three-year deal also covers ancillary events like Cruïlla Primavera, Cruïlla Tador, Cruïlla XXS and Cruïlla Comedy.
Florida 135, also known as “Catedral del Techno,” is Spain’s oldest active nightclub. It is already selling tickets through the new Event Genius partnership for its re-opening event on Feb. 26, with all 3,000 tickets selling out in under 12 hours, leading to a second sell out night being added, according to a press release from Event Genius.
