Beach Road Weekend Music Festival Signs 3-Year Contract With Tisbury, MA
Beach Road Weekend Music Festival has signed a three-year contract with the town of Tisbury, Mass. Set to take place from Friday, Aug. 26 to Sunday, Aug. 28, this year will see Wilco, Beck, The Avett Brothers, and more taking the stage.
“It’s an honor to be able to look this far in the future with the Town of Tisbury as a partner,” Adam Epstein, President and CEO of Innovation Arts and Entertainment, said in a statement. “We are already working to secure an incredible lineup of artists for the next two years and are committed to giving a vital boost to Tisbury’s economy and nurturing the growth of the vibrant music scene on Martha’s Vineyard.”
Three-day tickets and hotel packages for the event are currently available on the festival’s website. With the new contract, Beach Road Weekend has also confirmed dates for 2023, which will take place from Aug. 24-27.
This year’s event will see two stages side-by-side, allowing for uninterrupted music. The festival made its debut in 2019 and was forced to cancel its 2020 edition due to pandemic. Last year saw the event return on a smaller scale in order to comply with COVID-19 guidelines.
Tisbury charges the festival $12,500 per day to use Veterans Memorial Park. The event has also pledged to pay 5% of its net revenue to the Ttown of Tisbury.
Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Khruangbin, and more will all be performing at the event.
