Nine Inch Nails Announce 2022 Headline Dates

Nine Inch Nails will  do a variety of shows in 2022, with a mix of major festival appearances and amphitheater dates announced spanning this spring and late summer.

The dates are the band’s first shows since 2018’s “Cold And Black Infinite” and kick off April 28 at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, N.C., with other shows including the previously announced Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta (April 30), two nights at Red Rocks in Colorado (Sept. 2-3), Primavera Sound Los Angeles (Sept. 16-18) and more. 
The dates will wrap Sept. 24 with a show in Cleveland, where NIN frontman and figurehead Trent Reznor founded the band in 1988. Support on that particular show will include industrial/metal veterans Ministry and Nitzer Ebb. 
Public onsale for new tour dates is Feb. 11, with a presale beginning Thursday, Feb. 8. 
NIN had notable performances scheduled for 2021, including at Danny Wimmer Presents’ Louder Than Life festival in Kentucky and Riot Fest in Chicago along with a few shows with the Pixies, but pulled out amid ongoing COVID concerns. 
The band was inducted to the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, with longtime agent and previous WME head of music Marc Geiger calling Reznor a genius who can do it all.  
“He’s singularly the smartest and most thoughtful artist I’ve had the pleasure to work with, and be friends with,” Geiger told Pollstar at the time, adding that, although he is no longer at WME,  “I am forever on [Reznor]’s team, wherever he will have me.”
