Following successful runs in Rosarito, Mexico in 2019 and 2021, the producers behind Baja Beach Fest will be making their way to Chicago for a new festival. Sueños Music Festival will take place May 28 and 29 in Grant Park.

Ozuna, J Balvin, Wisin Y Yandel, Myke Towers, El Alfa, Jhay Cortez, Natanael Cano and more will make up the Latin music festival’s lineup.

“Chicago is home to one of the largest Mexican populations in the country – making events like Sueños Festival an important opportunity to highlight the culture and the cultural contributions of our Latino community as a whole, Chicago Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot said in a statement. “Through the power of music, food and much more, this exciting festival will showcase Chicago’s rich diversity and bring shows from some of the biggest names in music to our city for attendees to enjoy.”

Baja Beach Fest will feature a lineup including Daddy Yankee, Maluma, Aneul AA, Farruko, Banda MS, Wisin Y Yandel and more. That event will return for two weekends in August, starting Aug. 12-14 and ending Aug. 19-21. Meanwhile, Sueños Music Festival will take place over the course of Memorial Day Weekend.

“We’re honored to work with the producers of Lollapalooza and Reventon to bring a premier Latin festival to Grant Park in Chicago,” Aaron Ampudia of Baja Beach Fest said in a statement. “Reggaetón is a massive genre but remains underserved by live festivals in the US. We’re extremely proud to expand to the US and serve our community and everyone who enjoys Latin music. Chacago, estén listos para perrear. See you on Memorial Day Weekend.”

Enrique Medrano of Reventon Promotions said in a statement, “Over a decade ago, I started Reventon Promotions with a dream of bringing authentic and diverse Hispanic entertainment to Chicago. “Now I am excited and proud to be part of the first Sueños festival, an event that celebrates the Hispanic presence in the city, in addition to being held in the iconic and representative Grant Park right in the heart of downtown. What better place is there for thousands of people from different Latin American countries to meet, share, and celebrate with artists of the likes of J Balvin, Ozuna, and many more.”

Registration for pre-sale tickets is now available online at the festival’s website. Presale begins on Friday, Feb. 11 at 12 p.m. CT. The Sueños Music Festival will be an age 18+ event.
