Van Morrison will be taking his iconic catalog of hit songs on the road across America for a quick spin this spring, and announced rescheduled dates from a previously announced outing.

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer will tour on the heels of his Academy Award nomination on Tuesday for “Down To Joy” from the film “Belfast,” which he wrote the music and lyrics to and also performed.

The tour will see the singer/songwriter in Memphis on April 29 at the Beale Street Music Festival and then on to the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia, on May 1.  It will then move to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium May 3-4, followed by the Chicago Theatre May 7-8, before finishing up at the Fox Theatre in Detroit May 10th.

War & Treaty will support Morrison at the Chicago and Detroit dates.

The tour will launch with make-up shows scheduled April 20-21 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Fla., and April 23-24 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla. Morrison will also perform Oct. 7-9 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Presales for the May dates are on sale now and public sales start tomorrow, Friday, February 11. Tickets are available at Morrison’s website or at your local box office. The Florida and Las Vegas dates are already on sale.
