Miranda Lambert Unveils Her ‘Velvet Rodeo: The Las Vegas Residency’

Miranda Lambert has announced details for her new residency, “Velvet Rodeo: The Las Vegas Residency,” which will launch on Sept. 23. The residency will see her perform at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment.

The upcoming residency will feature performances of all of her previous hits, as well as new singles from her upcoming record, Palomino. “Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas” is set to kick off on Sept. 23, and will see residency dates in October, November, then continue on into 2023 with dates in March and April.

“When you’ve been touring as long as I have, there’s something really creative about imagining a residency in a city like Las Vegas,” Lambert said in a statement. “I’ve had a lot of fun designing our sets, merchandise and clothing and boot lines – and even my place on Broadway in Nashville, Casa Rosa – so, this opportunity allows me to lean a bit more into that side of myself and think about how to really bring country music to live in this room. I think everyone will like what we’ve dreamed up. I’m really excited about this!”

Last August, Lambert grossed over $1 million for three shows at the Whitewater Amphitheater in New Bruanfels, Texas on Aug. 20, 21, and 22, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. Over the course of her career, Lambert has grossed $395 million and sold 6.8 million tickets from 548 reported events. The country singer recently appeared on the cover of Pollstar, where she talked about her long career in music.

Tickets for the residency will begin to go on sale on April 7 at 10 a.m. PT. Miranda Lambert fan club members will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning on April 1 at 10 a.m. PT. For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the MuttNation Foundation, which helps provide the adoption of rescue pets, supports animal shelters across the country, and more.
