UK/Euro Lineups: Knotfest Germany Premieres, Summerjam Turns 35, LooseFest & More

More Acts for Knotfest Germany Premiere

The premiere of Knotfest Germany is scheduled July 30 at Rudolf Weber-Arena Oberhausen, headlined by the makers of the event, Slipknot.

Joining the bill are Swedish prog metal band Meshuggah, Californian deathgrinders Cattle Decapitation, as well as English hardcore sensation Malevolence. In Flames and Ghostemane were confirmed earlier.

Tickets, starting at €119 ($130) are on sale, VIP packages are available. The capacity of the Knotfest Germany premiere is 25,000. More acts are to be announced.

Summerjam Turns 35

Seeed, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Ziggy Marley, Tarrus Riley, Stefflon Don, Milky Chance, and many more have been confirmed for Summerjam, which celebrates its 35th edition in Cologne, Germany, July 1-3.

Julian Marley, another son of the late reggae legend Bob Marley, has also been confirmed, replacing Ky-Mani Marley, who had to cancel for personal reasons.

Weekend tickets starting at €150 ($164), including various comfort camping options, are on sale. Day tickets are expected to go on sale in May.

Parookaville Adds Huge Names

Steve Aoki and Martin Solveig have joined the Parookaville lineup for the mega event’s sixth edition in Weeze, Germay, July 22-24.

Both Aoki and Solveig have performed at each of Parookaville’s six editions. This year, they join previously announced Testö, Felix Jaehn, Armin van Buuren, Fisher, Scooter, Alle Farben, Purple Disco Machine, and many more.

Israeli DJ duo Vini Vici, Dutch hard style DJ Wildstylez, Australian rising star Marauda, Grammy-nominated Cosmic Gate as well as Lari Luke from Germany are also among the lineup.

Parookaville 2022 tickets are on sale. Regular full weekend tickets start at €229 ($250), there are VIP options for both weekend as well as day tickets available.

Black Eyed Peas At LooseFest

LooseFest is all set for its second edition, July 30-31, in Newcastle, England. Black Eyed Peas, Joel Corry, AJ Tracey, Belters Only, Example, Dimitri from Paris, Sigala, Clean Bandit, and many more have been confirmed.

LooseFest takes place on Newcastle’s famous Town Moor and offer space for 60,000 festivalgoers. Last year’s LooseFest premiere took place, Oct. 9, having been postponed from its original July date due to COVID restrictions.

One of the founding members of LooseFest, Simon Sykes, said, “We are delighted to be working with some of the biggest brands and artists in the industry and have had a staggering response so far from right across the country. It’s going to be an amazing weekend of entertainment this summer – with five stages, huge festival production, a street food village, a carnival fun fair with ferris wheel and so much more”.

Day and weekend tickets for LooseFest 2022, a non-camping festival, are on sale. Weekend tickets start at €160 ($175), day tickets at €74 ($81).
