Strategic Partnership With The European Volleyball Confederation CEV

CTS Eventim also just announced a strategic partnership with the European Volleyball Confederation CEV, which sees Eventim become the official ticketing partner for CEV’s top events, including future editions of CEV EuroVolley and the CEV Champions League Volley Super Finals.

CTS Eventim was selected as a partner by CEV following a Europe-wide tender process. “Throughout the tender process, Eventim demonstrated a deep understanding of our needs and a real passion for delivering a brilliant level of service to the LOCs and to all volleyball fans,” said Aleksandar Boričić, president of the CEV.

The governing body comprising more than 55 volleyball associations across Europe, wants capacity crowds at its events and to achieve the budgeted ticketing revenue for each CEV top event. It also wants to establish an international customer database, and believes CTS Eventim can help with all of the above. Said Boričić, “our new partnership with Eventim is of strategic importance for the CEV and is a key part of our digitalization process and future fan relationship management. The CEV aims to increase the fan database and to reach its potential audience through the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns. This will improve ticket sales and raise the ticketing income for the local organising committees.”

The first CEV event selling tickets through Eventim are the upcoming Champions League Volley Super Finals 2022 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, May 22. Ticket go on sale on April 8.

CTS Eventim’s chief operating officer, Alexander Ruoff, commented, “We are absolutely delighted to support CEV in centralising its ticketing and CRM activities.
