Illenium’s Ember Shores Returns To Cancún For Second Year
Following the success of their inaugural event in Cancún last year, Ember Shores, Illenium’s Ember Shores festival has announced its return. In partnership with Disco Donnie Presents and Feyline, Ember Shores will return to the all-inclusive Four Diamond Paradisus Resort and Four Star Fiesta Americana Condesa in Cancún on Dec. 2–4.
“This past year Ember Shores was one of my favorite events ever,” Nick Miller, best known under his stage name Illenium, said in a statement. “Can’t wait for the second edition! See you in paradise!”
Last year’s event saw Illenium performing seven DJ sets throughout the weekend, four of which had been surprise appearances. The upcoming event promises to be even bigger, with Illenium performing three unique sets throughout the three days.
Festication, a collaboration between Disco Donnie Presents and Feyline, will be promoting this year’s event. Ember Shores serves as a part of Festication’s destination events series, which brings festivals to top resorts around the world.
“Festication is proud to partner with Illenium for the anticipated second year of Ember Shores at the Paradisus in Cancún,” Disco Donnie said in a statement. “The input from the Illenium team has been key in the Ember concept resonating so powerfully and authentically with the fan base. We’re excited to bring Nick’s fans back together in a destination like Cancún.”
The 2021 edition of the event sold out in less than three hours, and featured the likes of Big Gigantic, Ray Volpe, Jason Ross, Cosmic Gate, Dr. Fresche, Golf Clap and more.
“Ember Shores 2021 was a truly special event and Festication is excited to bring Illenium back to Cancún for what is sure to be another incredible weekend… We’re very proud of the production value Festication and our artist partners bring to the fans and we look forward to continuing to go above and beyond,” Tyler Fey, owner of Feyline.
Illenium grossed $1.9 million for his four shows at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco Nov. 24–28, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
All guests are considered VIPs, with packages starting at $988 per person, including a three-night stay at either Four Diamond Paradisus Resort or Four Star Fiesta Americana Condesa, with all-inclusive food and drink (including alcohol).
