Moon River Music Festival Announces 2022 Lineup With Leon Bridges, The National And More
Moon River Music Festival will return to Coolidge Park in Chattanooga, Tenn. on Sept. 10 and 11, with the event unveiling its lineup topped by Leon Bridges and The National.
“Moon River weekend continues to be my favorite of the year,” festival founder Drew Holcomb said in a statement. “this year’s lineup is stacked from top to bottom. Can’t wait to gather with our friends and family again on the river in Chattanooga. See you there!”
Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, Band of Horses, Local Natives, Greensky Bluegrass, Zach Bryan, Lucius, Charley Crockett, Keb’ Mo’, Mat Kearney, Briston Maroney, JP Sax, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Hiss Golden Messenger, Wild Rivers, Natalie Hemy, Wilderado, Maggie Rose, Abraham Alexander, Daniel Nunnelee, and Madeline Edwards round out this year’s lineup.
Moon River experiences such as The Treehouse, Lookout Lodge, and Tennessee Tavern are also set to make their return for this year’s festival.
Moon River Festival managed to be among those events to return last fall following the pandemic, with last year’s event seeing performances from Wilco, Mipso, Lord Huron and more.
2022 marks the festival’s seventh year, and fourth in Chattanooga following their relocation from Memphis, Tenn. Previous years have also seen headlining performances from Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, The Avette Brothers, and the Head and the Heart.
Among reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors grossed $89,226 for their show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Sept. 14, 2019, selling 2,272 tickets at 100% capacity.
Presale tickets for Moon River Festival go on sale starting April 12 at 12 p.m. ET, with general onsale beginning April 14 starting at 12 p.m. ET via the Moon River Festival’s official website.
