Ringo And His All Starr Band Announces Second Leg Of 2022 Tour Dates

Ringo and His All Starr Band have announced the second leg of their 2022 tour dates kicking off at the Hartford Healthcare Amp in Bridgeport, Conn. on Sept. 23. The tour will continue on with stops in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles’ Greek Theater, before wrapping up with two nights at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City on Oct. 19 and 20.

“It is so great to finally announce all these shows we had planned for 2020, and I am really looking forward to playing them,” Starr said in a statement. “How great to start at the Casino Rama, where we’ve begun five All Starr tours, and then to go back to the Beacon, and to the Greek, which was the last show we played in 2019 on our 39th Anniversary tour. I can’t wait to see all our fans and until then I’m sending everyone peace and love and see you soon!”

The upcoming tour will see longtime All Starr bandmembers Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Greg Bissonette, with Edgar Winter making his return.

The first leg of shows kicks off on May 27 at the Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario. Ringo and His All Starr Band will then be joined by The Avett Brothers for shows in Boston and Gilford, N.H., before the band goes on to perform three nights at New York’s Beacon Theatre. The first leg will then wrap up in Clearwater, Fla. on June 26.

The upcoming performances mark the former Beatles’ first shows since 2019. According to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, Starr’s two nights at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Nov. 7 and 8, 2019 sold 2,008 tickets with $417,387 gross.

In March 2021, Starr released his EP, Zoom In, which was recorded in his home studio during April and October 2020. In September 2021, the musician then released his Change the World EP.
