Bob Dylan Sets Dates For West Coast Spring Run

Come May it will be time for Bob Dylan to revisit Highway 101. He’s unveiled a new set of tour dates, featuring 14 gigs along the West Coast in May and June. 

The run kicks off in Washington with a May 28 show at Spokane’s First Interstate Center for the Arts, followed by a May 29 show at Kennewick’s Toyota Center. The route includes gigs at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Ore.; two nights at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, three nights at Oakland’s Fox Theater and three nights at Los Angeles’ California Pantages Theatre.

Dylan is planning a bunch more tour dates. Although the May 28- June 18 West Coast shows are the only gigs currently listed on his website, the top of his site refers to Dylan’s “Rough And Rowdy Ways” Worldwide Tour 2021-2024. 

Released in June 2020, Rough and Rowdy Ways marks Dylan’s 39th studio album. In November he’ll release “The Philosophy Of Modern Song,” the Nobel Prize laureate’s first book of new writing since “Chronicles: Volume One.”

Dylan wrapped up a run of dates last week that included stops in Oklahoma City; Little Rock, Ark.; Mobile, Ala.; Greensboro, N.C.; and Austin, Texas. Box office reports submitted to Pollstar include a sold-out show at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre that sold 2,579 tickets and grossed $237,227.
