NeoNeo Stage At Superbloom Premiere

Superbloom, the new German festival set to premiere Sept. 3-4 at Munich’s Olympic Park, announced the introduction of the NeoNeo Stage, which will present numerous newcomers, who will complement an otherwise star-studded bill.

The NeoNeo Stage will be presented by Superbloom media partner Puls, the young content network of German radio network Bayerischer Rundfunk, which already has numerous formats for young musicians, creators and authors in its program.

The NeoNeo Stage “will be the place to be to discover real insider tips and the stars of tomorrow,” according to a Superbloom announcement.

The list of up-and-coming artists to perform on the NeoNeo Stage includes Bavarian indie band Die Saune, Hungarian singer ДEVA, Nina Chuba from Hamburg, Berlin-based Esther Graf, and Munich-based electro-pop duo Umme Block.

Also on the NeoNeo bill are Bruckner, Cosma Joy, MELE, and Nikan. They join main stage headliners David Guetta, Megan Thee Stallion, AnnenMayKantereit and Rita Ora, among others at the Superbloom premiere.

Fruzsina Szép, managing director and festival director, commented, “It was important to us to give young talents and “new faces” a stage and to integrate them into our festival concept. With PULS, we have an authentic partner at our side with whom we share the same values and visions – together we have curated the NeoNeo Stage.”

Two-day ticket for Superbloom’s Saturday and Sunday are available from €169 ($178). Teen tickets for 12–to-15-year-olds will be offered at a reduced price of €99 ($105), and there’s a limited number of free Kids tickets.

Primavera Sound & NTS Radio Join Forces

Meanwhile in Spain, Primavera Sound Barcelona announced that NTS Radio, after years of collaboration, has become the festival’s official partner.

The radio station will present the NTS Warehouse stage on site at the Parc del Forum, where Primavera Sound takes place, with concerts and sessions by Erika de Casier, Vladislav Delay, Anz, VTSS, Mecánica Popular, Oli XL, and more.

What is more, NTS will relive highlights of the festival throughout the year via a series of monthly special Primavera broadcasts on NTS.live.

“The festival born in Barcelona and the online radio station speak the same diverse musical language, so it was only a matter of time before they joined forces in an alliance that has materialised just 26 days before another edition of Primavera Sound,” a statement from the festival’s organizers reads.
