HARD Summer Music Festival is going even harder by expanding to three days for the first time ever. With a lineup devoted to “forward-thinking electronic music and cutting-edge hip-hop,” the 2022 event is headlined by Megan Thee Stallion on Friday, Lil Uzi Vert on Saturday and Porter Robinson on Sunday.

After making its debut at NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, Calif., in 2021, the fest will return to the venue July 29-31. An announcement notes that the festival’s amenities are focused on “the comfort of attendees,” with free water stations, shade structures, a one-acre lagoon and cooling mist systems throughout the venue. VIP fans will be happy to hear that HARD Events is bringing back the VIP pool that looks directly at the HARD stage.

The lineup boasts electronic stars including Madeon, Alison Wonderland GRiZ, Tchami, TOKiMONSTA, Moore Kismet, Jai Wolf, Masego, and Craze performing a drum & bass set, along with big names from the rap and hip-hop world including Gunna, Three 6 Mafia, Denzel Curry, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Aminé. Other highlights from the lineup include a B2B performance from Zeds Dead with Subtronics, Sub Focus and a special guest, Nicole Moudaber, Life and Death founder DJ Tennis, Joji, Marc Rebillet, 100 gecs and Tiga.

Passes for HARD Summer went on sale today, with a layaway option available with a $9.95 deposit.

Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for HARD Summer include the 2017 edition, held Aug. 5-6 at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, that grossed more than $6.7 million.
