Budweiser Brewing Group, the official beer partner of The O2 in London, will be bringing Ukraine’s most-popular beer brand, Chernigivske, to the iconic building to support the humanitarian relief effort in Ukraine.

The long-standing partnership with the Budweiser Brewing Group, which has been a founding partner of The O2 when it first opened in 2007, was originally brokered by AEG Global Partnerships.

Now, The O2 “is proud to be named as the first UK on-trade partner and venue stockist for Chernigivske,” according to press release announcing the initiative, which forms part of a wider initiative from Budwiser parent company AB InBev, who have pledged to donate at least $5 million to designated NGOs to support humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

In addition, The O2, in conjunction with the venue’s catering partner Levy UK and AB InBev, will be making a donation from every drink sold at the venue to go towards charitable causes with the aim of providing essential humanitarian relief.

Available from today at The O2, gig-goers will be able to purchase a 440ml can of Chernigivske from the Camden Craft Bar, located on Level 1, Budweiser Bar, located on Level 2, and in the building’s premium bars and lounges, including the AMEX Lounge and O2 Blueroom, as well as select suites at The O2.

Cans of Chernigivske will feature the Ukrainian flag on their packaging and will be available to purchase at The O2 until September 2022.

We are thrilled that Chernigivske will be available at The O2, offering our consumers the opportunity to directly contribute to this effort.”

Laura Palairet, senior partnerships director at The O2, said, “We’re delighted to be supporting such a worthy initiative alongside our long-term partner AB InBev, as well as Levy UK, and bringing Chernigivske to fans visiting The O2 arena. As a business, we’re continually looking for ways that we can make a difference and are proud to be working with partners who share this mission.”
