2022 Impact 50: Jeffrey Azoff
Co-Founder & CEO
Full Stop Management
Full Stop Management, the artist management company founded in 2015 by Jeffrey Azoff, Irving Azoff and Brandon Creed, continues to have extraordinary successes with its growing artist roster representing a cross-section of legendary veteran acts, up-and-comers and newly minted superstars whose careers continue to ascend.
Among the latter are myriad acts who’ve done nothing less than impact the course of popular music culture and beyond, including: Lizzo, whose single “About Damn Time,” dropped in April and is already tipped for 2022’s song of the summer; the preternaturally talented Anderson .Paak, whose brilliant Silk Sonic collab with Bruno Mars owned radio and this year’s Grammys; and Haim, who just sold-out the Hollywood Bowl and whose guitarist, pianist, and singer Alana Haim had a star turn in Paul Thomas Anderson’s brilliant “Licorice Pizza.” There are others, too, including Kings of Leon, James Blake, Roddy Ricch, Troye Sivan and, of course, one other.
Harry Styles had a gargantuan year as his “Love On Tour” sold more tickets in 2021 – nearly 720,000 – than any other act. That his 42-date arena run happened over three months during a global pandemic, meant Styles played a show on average every other night while keeping fans and touring personnel safe, speaks volumes about Full Stop’s commitment to operating at the highest level of the business.
Last week, Styles pushed the touring bar even higher by announcing shows for his upcoming third album, Harry’s House. The run will feature historic multi-night arena residencies, including 10 nights at both Madison Square Garden and The Kia Forum as well as five nights at Chicago’s United Center and Austin’s new Moody Center, catapulting Styles to an elite class of artists. This, just as his new single, “As It Was” released in April, is already certified platinum, was No. 1, on the Hot 100 for three weeks and the UK charts for six while breaking Spotify’s record for most streams in a single day with 8.3 million.
Azoff refuses to take sole credit for any of it, instead heaping praise upon his staff whose team approach super-serves their clients. This includes team members Tommy Bruce, Anna Savage, Shawn Holiday, Brandon Creed, Kevin Beisler, Tina Kennedy, Tom Skoglund and many more.
