Burna Boy Announces ‘Love, Damini Summer 2022 Tour’

Burna Boy has announced his “Love, Damini Summer Tour,” which will see the Nigerian artist making stops in Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Boston, Atlanta and more throughout the month of July.

The “Love, Damini Summer Tour” will kick off on July 17 at the Tipsy All White Beach Party Festival in Bridgetown, Barbados. Burna Boy will then head to Detroit on July 21 for an appearance at Aretha Franklin Amphitheater before making stops in Minneapolis, Chicago, Houston, Irving, Texas, Boston and Montreal. The summer tour will then wrap up on July 31 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

Burna Boy’s upcoming sixth studio album, Love, Damini, is slated for release on June 30 at 7 p.m. ET. In August 2020, the Nigerian artist released his album Twice as Tall.

In April, Burna Boy became the first Nigerian artist to headline Madison Square Garden with his show, “One Night In Space.” Last September, the Afrobeat star managed to sell out the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

In addition to the “Love, Damini Summer Tour,” Burna Boy will be appearing at Hot 97’s 2022 Summer Jam at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on June 12.

Tickets for Burna Boy’s upcoming dates will go on sale beginning May 20. Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale beginning May 17 at 10 a.m. local until May 19 at 10 p.m. local.
