The Chainsmokers Unveil ‘So Far So Good Tour’ Dates
The Chainsmokers have announced 30 new dates to celebrate the release of their new album, So Far So Good.
The tour dates will see the electronic duo touring for the rest of 2022, with the first date on the unveiled tour taking place May 21 at Infieldfest in Baltimore. They will then appear at Pride In The Park in Chicago on June 26 before embarking to shows in Mykonos, Montreal, Toronto, Nashville, Brooklyn, Austin, Munich, Paris and more. The 30 date trek will then warp up on Dec. 27 at Belly Up in Aspen, Colo.
Throughout the tour, The Chainsmokers will be making numerous festival appearances, including at Fest Festival in Poland, Sonnemondsterne Festival in Germany, Blended Festival in Nashville, Austin and Tampa, and more.
Highlights from the duo’s 2019 tour included a sold-out performance at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Nov. 26, 2019, which sold 12,036 tickets and saw an $830,992 gross. Their Nov. 23 show from the same tour saw them grossing $608,236 in Phoenix, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.
So Far So Good follows the duo’s 2019 album, World War Joy. Their last tour, which had been in support of World War Joy, saw support from 5 Seconds Of Summer and Lennon Stella.
The rollout of So Far So Good saw he singles “I Love U,” “Riptide,” “High” and “iPad.” The Chainsmokers created the album after heading to Hawaii to relax following two years of non-stop touring. With the ethos that they wouldn’t create anything unless they felt moved to do so, So Far So Good saw the two creating their most personal body of work yet.
Tickets for The Chainsmokers upcoming tour will go on sale May 19 at 10 a.m. local time. A Spotify Fan First presale will begin May 18 at 10 a.m. local time, with local presales beginning May 18 at 12 p.m. local time.
