UTA started the week by announcing some good news for its staff Monday, with 54 promotions across more than 20 divisions in multiple offices. The promotions include Rachel Hall, Coordinator in Comedy Touring, promoted to Agent and Kyle Levinsohn, Coordinator in Music, to Agent.

“As UTA continues to expand and thrive, we are consistently impressed by our colleagues’ work ethic, collaborative spirit and resilience,” UTA Co-President David Kramer said in a statement. “This is a group who has demonstrated thought leadership, outstanding performance and commitment to our company, and we are looking forward to seeing what they do in their new roles.”

The promotions represent UTA’s commitment to inclusion and diversity, with more than 60% of the employees being promoted identifying as women and a third as people of color.

Monday’s announcement notes that “as part of its commitment to employee development, UTA also recently implemented a wage increase for participants in UTA’s Agent Training Program, following an across-the-board pay raise for hourly employees and staff in 2020.”

Other promotions in the music department include assistants Tom Matthews, Harriet Quare and Zoe Swindells promoted to Coordinator.

Earlier this year music agents Janet Kim and Scott Schreiber joined UTA, both based out of the agency’s Beverly Hills office.

In September UTA and its partner company Klutch Sports Group announced “the establishment of a substantial on-the-ground presence in Atlanta.” UTA is headquartered in Los Angeles with additional offices in Chicago, Nashville, New York and London.

Pollstar’s Impact 50 list, unveiled Monday, includes three executives from UTA: David Zedeck, Partner & Co-Head Of Global Music; Samantha Kirby Yoh, Partner & Co-Head Of Global Music and Nick Nuciforo, Partner & Head Of UTA Comedy Touring.
