The festival’s namesake refers to the Portola Festival of 1909, which celebrated the return of the city following the devastation caused by the 1906 earthquake. Goldenvoice’s new version of the festival aims to combine elements of dance, indie, hip-hop, and progressive pop.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to roam from tents to a 400,000 square-foot warehouse, with the main stage finding the San Francisco skyline as its backdrop. Local food offerings, craft beer, local wine, and cocktails will all be made available throughout the event.
