Oceans Calling Announces Inaugural Lineup With Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, The Lumineers, Alanis Morissette & More

Oceans Calling has unveiled its inaugural lineup, which will see Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds headlining Friday, Sept. 30, The Lumineers on Oct. 1 and Alanis Morissette on Oct. 2.

Dirty Heads, O.A.R., Cage the Elephant, Logic, Cyndi Lauper, Sublime with Rome, and more will all be taking the stage throughout the three-day event taking place in Ocean City, Md.

“We are thrilled to host Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City, Md. and celebrate all our incredible city has to offer,” Mayor Rick Meehan said in a statement. “Thank you to C3 Presents and Maryland’s own O.A.R. for bringing an event of this magnitude to the Ocean City Boardwalk. We look forward to seeing everyone!”

With three stages hosting more than 30 bands, the inaugural event promises to be a weekend to remember. In addition to announcing what music acts will be performing throughout the weekend, Oceans Calling will host several acclaimed chefs, including Andrew Zimmern, Robert Irvine and Amanda Freitag. One stage will be dedicated to cooking demos throughout the festival.

Alanis Morissette returned to the road this fall with support from Garbage, Liz Phair, and Cat Power. Her two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles grossed $3.3 million, while another highlight from the tour saw her grossing over $1 million for her show at Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Wash., according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.

The Lumineers took to Europe in February and March, grossing $425,328 for their show at WiZink Center in Madrid and $192,804 for their show at The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham.

Fans can purchase tickets starting May 25 at 12 p.m. ET, with layaway plans beginning at $20 down.
