1.3M Tickets Sold: Justin Bieber Adds International Dates
Justin Bieber today announced the final international dates for his “Justice World Tour,” promoted by AEG Presents, including a fourth show at London’s The O2 on Feb. 17, 2023.
Ab October 8, 2022, date at Coca-Cola Arena Dubai has been added as well. A press release from AEG, announcing the new international dates, states that additional dates have also been announced in , New Delhi, Manila, and Dublin, none of which were listed in the final list below, nor on Justin Bieber’s website. Commenting on the new Dubai date, Thomas Ovesen, owner of T.O.P Entertainment, the outfit responsible for bringing the show to Dubai, said, “having Justin back for what will be his third visit and fourth performance in the city is so exciting, both for his fans and for me personally. The UAE hasn’t seen shows of this size and scale since pre pandemic and I can guarantee everyone is in for a real treat – the production is world class and there is no doubt Justin is at the very top of his game right now, the ticket sales worldwide speak for themselves! The “Justice World Tour,” which will travel to over 30 countries on six continents, playing more than 125 shows from May 2022 through March 2023, had sold in excess of 1.3 million tickets at the time of writing.
Its North American leg just came to a close. Some highlights taken from Pollstar’s box office database for Justin Bieber include sold-out shows at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena (two sold-out nights, March 21-22, selling 23,957 tickets for a gross of $3,157,938), at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC, March 29 (15,226 tickets sold, $2,000,187 grossed), Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL, April 9 (12,664 tickets, $1,855,880 gross), as well as the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, May 1 (13,304 tickets,
$2,321,049 gross).
The “Justice World Tour” has now moved to Mexico, and, after a stop at the Summer Festival in Lucca, Italy, July 31, it will continue on to Scandinavia in August.
Next up on Bieber’s itinerary are South America, South Africa and the Middle East in September and October. The “Justice World Tour” will close out the year in Asia, Australia and New Zealand before moving to the UK and Europe in early 2023.
The “Justice World Tour,” promoted by AEG Presents, is Justin Bieber’s first global outing since 2016/2017’s “Purpose World Tour.” Bieber played to 2.7 million fans over the course of this run, with the finale seen by 65,000 fans at London’s British Summer Time Hyde Park festival.
The superstar ranked six on Pollstar’s 2016 Year End Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart with 1,761,642 tickets sold and $163.3 million grossed. He added another 1,043,839 tickets sold and $93.7 million grossed the following year, placing him rank 12 on our 2017 year-end chart.
