ONE Musicfest will be returning on Oct. 8 and 9 in Atlanta, with a new location at Central Park’s Old Fourth Ward. This year promises a bigger venue with four stages and more music, with ONE Musicfest utilizing Central Park, Renaissance Park and the Civic Center.

“We are super excited about this year’s lineup and new location,” J. Carter, Founder of ONE Musicfest, says in a statement. “One thing we pride ourselves on is creating a diverse lineup that reflects the vast and beautiful breath of Black Music and Culture. We are also taking over the 4th Ward Area in Atlanta, GA, and increasing our footprint to four stages instead of three. ONE Musicfest 2022 will be our biggest year yet, but we still plan to keep the energy and vibrations intimate and comfortable.”

The festival welcomes BET as a partner, with the company planning to turn the festival grounds into a Black Joy Playground. More than 40 food trucks and 50 vendors will also be making their way to the festival grounds, providing a variety of food options for those who attended.

Ms. Lauryn Hill appeared at the Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas in May. The rapper was due to reunite with her group, The Fugees, for a tour earlier this year after having been postponed from last fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, due to ongoing surges, the group chose to keep the tour on hold. In 2019, she went on her last headlining tour which saw performances in Berlin (Aug. 29, 2019, selling 3,106 tickets and grossing $210,691, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice), L Providence, R.I., Port Chester, N.y. (grossing $116,361) and more.

Lil Baby last performed in Atlanta on Dec. 12, 2021 at the city’s State Farm Arena, with his show selling 12,191 tickets and grossing $1.6 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.

Tickets for this year’s ONE Musicfest are already available, with general admission entry beginning at $169. Titanium packages for the festival can be purchased for $5,500.
