Spotify is teaming up with Ticketmaster, AXS, DICE, Eventbrite, See Tickets and more for their Live Events Feed. The new service will allow fans to check out tickets for concerts through the streaming app, and will even suggest concerts based on users’ listening habits.

The goal for the Live Events Feed is to serve show recommendations and tour dates “directly in the listening moment,” according to a press release.

Prior to being rebranded as the Live Events Feed, the service had been Spotify’s Concert Hub, which allowed for fans to find livestreams and at-home concerts from their favorite artists throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns. As live music continues to return with more artists setting out on the road, Spotify’s new Live Events Feed will continue on with its Concert Hub service while pushing live venues.

The new feature can be found by searching “Live Events” in the app, with Spotify explaining that they chose to launch the Live Events Feed after noticing fans would leave the app in order to search events for artists they were streaming.

The goal of the Live Events Feed is to help fans become more aware of tour dates for their favorite artists, promoting the live music sphere as it returns post-lockdown. Fans can simply sift through local dates for their favorite artists, and will be taking to ticketing services through the app.
