Lizzo Announces The Lizzoverse: Presented By American Express Musical Lightshow

Lizzo fans will soon be able to enter the Lizzoverse: Presented by American Express. The musical light show will take place on July 16, with American Express card members having the opportunity to see the show on July 15.

The Lizzoverse celebrates Lizzo’s new album, SPECIAL, and will be livestreamed via the Amazon Music channel on Twitch beginning July 15 at 6 p.m. ET. The show will then run every two hours on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on July 16 and 17.

The show will see Lizzo and the Big Grrrls performing to celebrate SPECIAL, which arrives on July 15. A select number of American Express card members will be able to hear the playback performance in person, and will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive merchandise.

Lizzo set out on tour last fall, with her show at the Treasure Island Amphitheater in Welch, Minn., on Sept. 11 selling 16,035 tickets and grossing $1.3 million. In 2019, Lizzo joined the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour and sold out two nights at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco for her own headlining date on Oct. 27 and 28, 2019, grossing a total of $906,852, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
