Gustavo Canazio Named ASM Global Southeast Regional Booking Director

After joining ASM Global as New Orleans director of booking in April, Gustavo Canazio adds Southeast Regional Booking Director to his title, effective July 13.

Canazio is a concert and artist management veteran with over 15 years of experience, including starting at Velvet Hammer Music and Management Group where he was a point artist manager for artists including System of a Down, Deftones, Cypress Hill, and many others.

He also was one of the talent bookers for the mammoth Rock in Rio festival in Las Vegas and Brazil and, most recently, tour director at Live Nation helping to produce tours for artists including Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone and others.

ASM Global’s New Orleans portfolio includes the Caesars Superdome, the Smoothie King Center and the outdoor, multi-use Champions Square outdoor space nestled between the two venues, which hosts up to 40 events per year now including major ticketed concerts.
