First ‘Lucktoberfest’ Celebrates Luck Presents’ 10th Year With 10 Days Of Texas Fun

Lucktoberfest, a 10-day celebration of all things Texas and a centerpiece of Luck Presents’ 10th anniversary as a community arts and cultural collective based on Willie Nelson’s “Luck, Texas” property outside of Austin, will welcome more than 20,000 guests for an epic party Oct. 28-Nov. 6.

A diverse lineup of music, food and artisan experiences will fuse “the cultural patchwork of everything every Texan holds dear,” the festival will feature theme days, with music including featured artists Tanya Tucker with Sierra Ferrell and Nikki Lane, Los Lobos, Orville Peck, Paul Cauthen’s Big Velvet Revue, Fantastic Negrito, and more.

Festival passes, including admittance to all events, go on sale Friday July 22 at 10 a.m. CST. Daily passes will also be available for purchase Monday, July 25 at 10 a.m. CST.

“Not unlike Willie himself, Texas prides itself on bringing all walks of life together – from honky-tonk hooplas to traditional Mexican celebrations – and Lucktoberfest will take that all to the next level,” Luck Presents says.

In addition to music stages, there will be an “Outlaw Masquerade Ball” headlined by Orville Peck, “Prost, Y’all! – A Luck Octoberfest,”

Lucktoberfest benefits the Central Texas Food Bank through the Luck Family Foundation where $1 from each ticket sold to this year’s event goes directly to working hand-in-hand with setting a goal to hit at least 100,000 meals with this year’s program. Now in its 40th year of serving those in need, the mission of Central Texas Food Bank is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger. The Food Bank provides food and grocery products through a network of nearly 300 Partner Agencies and nutrition programs, serving nearly 60,000 people every week.

“Lucktoberfest is a 10 day celebration of everything we love about Texas; from the music to the food and everything in between,” Luck Presents founder Matt Bizer said in a statement. “Luck at its core is all about community, where everyone can come as they are. By collaborating with an amazing and diverse group of local and national curators, we are celebrating Texas by holding space for people to be themselves and share their incredible talents. Bring a little of yourself to Luck this year, and take a little bit of Luck with you on your way out!”

Each night of Lucktoberfest will be anchored by a specific theme, with incredible headliners and activities for all. Lucktoberfest’s programming includes an Outlaw Masquerade Ball, Luck-Oktoberfest, a Día De Los Muertos Experience, The Black Opry Revue, a Luck Night Market, and much more.
