UTA Signs Nurko In All Areas

Dance music sensation Nurko has joined United Talent Agency in all areas.

Nurko is currently signed to record label Astralwerks, joining dance music giants such as Dillon Francis, ZHU, Alison Wonderland, ZHU, Alesso and more. In May 2021, Nurko collaborated with Illenium for the single “Sideways,” which has hit more than 30 million streams on Spotify. Nurko has garnered support from the likes of Zeds Dead, Gryffin, Seven Lions, Adventure Club, Jauz and more as his career has continued to ascend, and his next single, “Eternity,” is due to be released on Aug. 19 via Astralwerks.

Nurko released his freshman EP, Arrival, via Proximity last March. Garnering over four million plays and supported by a 12-date U.S. tour, Nurko’s star is on the rise. He is currently managed by Brady horn at in8 Artist Group.

Nurko makes the newest addition to UTA’s dance department helmed by Steve Gordon and Kevin Gimble. With a roster that includes dance heavyweights such as Kaskade, Illenium, Excision, Subtronics, Alesso, and recent Pollstar cover artists deadmau5 and Moore Kismet, the department continues to expand and become a major driving force in dance music. Nurko joins UTA’s new wave of artists heading into hard ticket touring.

“If an artist is putting out a body of work or we can structure the touring around the music, you’re going to have the most success for the best ticket sales and being able to do those breakout shows,” Gordon told Pollstar in July. “In some situations, you just say, ‘Look, we haven’t played these markets yet. Let’s just do L.A., New York, Chicago, Miami, the major markets and see how those do and make sure that puts us in a good position.’ Then we go back and do the rest of the country. It’s just coming up with these creative plans that help these developing artists get on their feet.”
