Subtronics is gearing up to perform one of his biggest headline shows to date as it’s announced the hard-hitting bass musician will be headed to Los Angeles’ Kia Forum on Jan. 28. The show will see a night full of ear-shattering bass with performances from Virtual Riot, MUSTDIE! back-to-back with Leotrix, Holi, SweetTooth, back-to-back with Artix, and Austeria.

Subtronics’ takeover of the Kia Forum will be promoted by both Live Nation and Bassrush, Insomniac’s oldest genre-focused brand that encompasses all sounds under the bass umbrella including drum & bass, experimental basss, dubstep, riddim, trap and more.

In January, Subtronics released his debut full-length album, Fractals. The record saw collaborations with other bass music heavyweights such as Zeds Dead, Sullivan King, GRiZ and more. He followed up the release with the “Fractals Tour,” which took him to theaters across the country. Highlights from his last tour included selling out The Sylvee in Madison, Wiss. on March 11, which grossed $86,500 with 2,460 tickets. His stop at Washington D.C.’s Echostage on Feb. 26 also sold out, with 3,000 tickets and a gross of $126,315. Subtronics also headlined the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz., on Jan. 21, grossing $336,970, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.

Ahead of his “Fractals Tour,” Subtronics jet-setted across the country to perform two shows in one night for New Year’s Eve. He and his team spoke to Pollstar about the logistics of renting a private jet to ensure he could make it to both shows in Denver and San Bernardino, Calif. on the same night.

Tickets for the upcoming performance go on sale starting Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. local time.
