Inaugural All IN Festival Announces 2nd All-Star Tribute
The inaugural All IN Music & Arts Festival in Indianapolis on Labor Day weekend will pay tribute to Tom Petty with a star-studded jam session.
The “Dreamset” honoring the late Heartbreakers front man on the festival’s second night will include appearances by Dawes, Matt Shultz and Daniel Tichenor of Cage the Elephant, John Oates, Rick Mitarotonda of Goose, Ivan Neville, Jenny Lewis, Nicki Bluhm and other special guests.
The festival, a long-term collaboration between Indy Festival Partners and the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center, is set for Sept. 3 and 4 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Indy Festival Partners includes several long-time industry vets including Steve Sybesma, Paul Peck, Dave Lucas and Kevin Browning.
The Dreamset on the first night will honor the Allman Brothers and will include appearances from Chuck Leavell, Duane Betts, JoJo Hermann and Sunny Ortiz of Widespread Panic, Berry Oakley Jr., Rod Mogenstein, Gerry Hansen, Johnny Stachela, Steve Morse, Bill Nershi of The String Cheese Incident and Samantha Fish.
All IN’s headline acts are Daryl Hall & John Oates, Portugal. The Man, Cage the Elephant, John Fogerty and Death Cab for Cutie.
