Tyler Hubbard has a new agency to go along with his debut solo project, Dancin’ in the Country, which was released earlier this month via EMI Records Nashville. Hubbard – who made a name for himself as half of country superstar duo Florida Georgia Line – has signed with UTA for representation in all areas.

Hubbard is due to join Keith Urban on the road in September on his “The Speed Of Now World Tour,” starting with a Sept. 3 show at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

The six-song project Dancin’ in the Country – which includes Hubbard’s single “5 Foot 9” –debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart and #6 on the Current Country Albums Chart. UTA’s announcement points out that the EP was a hit from the get-go, with “10,000 sales plus streaming (SPS units), making it the second best-selling country EP debut of the year.”

Tune in to NBC’s “TODAY” show on Tuesday to catch Hubbard perform “5 Foot 9” on television for the first time.

Hubbard’s debut full-length album is due out Jan. 27, with plans for tour dates throughout 2023 in support of the LP.
