Emma Bunton Announces ‘Christmas Party’ UK Run

Emma Bunton, who made a name for herself as “Baby Spice,” has unveiled the routing for a run of U.K. dates she’s calling “Emma Bunton’s Christmas Party.” A graphic posted to her Twitter page promises that the setlist will include performances of “Christmas classics plus her solo and Spice Girls hits.”
The brief tour begins Dec. 12 at the 2,300-capacity Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Stops include Brighton Dome, York Barbican, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall and London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Fingers crossed that one or more of Bunton’s fellow Spice Girls buddies will stop by one of teh venues to help celebrate the holidays. After all, the tour graphic proclaims that the dates feature “Emma Bunton & Friends.”
A presale for “Emma Bunton’s Christmas Party” begins Thursday at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the general onsale Friday at 10 a.m.
Bunton’s most recent album is her fourth LP, 2019’s My Happy Place.
That year also marked the most recent reunion tour by The Spice Girls, minus Victoria “Posh” Beckham. The “Spice World – 2019 Tour” featured 13 dates in the U.K. and Scotland, wrapping with three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium that sold a total of 221,971 tickets and grossed an astounding $27.3 million.
The Spice Girls is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the group’s second studio album, Spiceworld, with anniversary editions of the album, which ship out Sept. 10 and special merch.
