Germany’s Full Metal Cruise will put out to sea twice in 2023, seeing that the first cruise announced for Sept. 15-20, sold out within a few hours.

As promoter ICS Festival Service informs in a press release, “only a few hours after tickets went on sale, all cabins were fully booked. As it seems, the seaworthy ‚cruisaders‘ can’t wait to set sail (…) in September 2023 in Kiel to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Europe’s loudest cruise.”

To satisfy demand, the ship will set sail for a second time Sept. 20-24. “Who will be rocking the boat, which ports of call will be reached and info about the cabin booking will be announced in the coming weeks,” the press release continues.

The first cruise will leave the port of Kiel on Sept. 15, cross the Baltic Sea with stops at metal meccas Stockholm, Sweden, and Helsinki, Finland, before returning to its home port on Sept. 20. The lineup features In Extremo, Clawfinger, Glory Hammer, and more.

Holger Hübner and Thomas Jensen, co-organizers of the Full Metal Cruise and founders of the legendary Wacken Open Air, are enthusiastic. Hübner commented, “On the heels of the sensational sold-out of next year’s W:O:A, the metalheads also grant us a full ship. A big and loud ‘Thank you!’ goes out to all of them. We said it before, and we’ll say it again: We do have the best fans in the world.”

Jensen added, “Commitment and excitement like this as well the overall great vibes on past cruises show that these trips are indeed something extraordinary. And just like with all great rock shows, this calls for an… encore! Together with our partners TUI Cruises we decided to start a second cruise right after this one. Who’s coming with us?”
