Robbie Robertson, Sebastian Robertson, and Keith Wortman of Blackbird Presents bring a lineup including Warren Haynes, Don Was with Jamey Johnson, Kathleen Edwards, and many more to “The Last Waltz Tour 2022.” The tour will visit a dozen East Coast cities, kicking off Nov. 3-4 at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y.

Additional artists include Anders Osborne, Dave Malone, John Medeski, Cyril Neville, Terrence Higgins, Bob Margolin and Mark Mullins & The Levee Horns (featuring the original horn arrangements of Allen Toussaint).

The tour continues the tradition of brining the vibe of The Band’s historic “The Last Waltz” 1976 Thanksgiving concert – ending its career and closing the fabled Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco.

Blackbird Presents, in collaboration with Robertson, revived what has become a franchise in 2016 at “The Last Waltz New Orleans: A Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of The Last Waltz,” a two-night, sold-out concert event at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans..

Tickets go on sale Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. EST at the tour’s website. Dates and venues are below.

“It is such an honor that the musical celebration of The Last Waltz and The Band carries on today,” says Robertson. “Blackbird Presents and this extraordinary lineup of musicians makes me proud to be a part of this ongoing and wonderful tradition.” Robertson and keyboardist Garth Hudson are the only remaining surviving members of The Band.

“We are counting down the days till we get to see this lineup, performing these songs, in the greatest music celebration of our lives,” says Keith Wortman, creator and producer of “The Last Waltz Tour” franchise. “Seeing the audiences sing along to every word at every show as one family is what all of us music fans live for.”
