Scott Mantell Joins UTA As Music Agent

UTA has announced the hiring of Scott Mantell, who will join the company as an agent based in Los Angeles. Mantell previously served as a partner and the Co-Head of International Touring at ICM Partners, which was recently acquired by CAA.

As Mantell joins UTA, he brings along his roster including LL Cool J, Jill Scott, Toni Braxton, D’Angelo, Postmodern Jukebox, Disney Concerts, The Driver Era, Aly & AJ, Kiana Lede, Macy Gray, Gashi, Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.

Mantell first began his career at APA. When he moved over to ICM Partners, he helped build the company’s touring division from the ground up. Throughout his career, he has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne and more.

Mantell is not the first former ICM Partner to join UTA following the acquirement. Robert Gibbs also left ICM Partners in August to join UTA’s Atlanta office as partner and co-head. Other ICM Partners employees have made landings at Wasserman, Gersh Agency, APA and more.
