Adam Sandler Announces Fall Arena Tour

Adam Sandler is headed back on the road with dates set for a North American fall tour that’s concentrated in arenas. A tour poster for “Adam Sandler Live” promises that the comedian will be joined by a surprise guest. Also of note – the trek is intended for mature audiences only.

Sandler, whose talents also include being an actor, writer, producer and musician, played a handful of dates in early 2020 and in February and June of 2019 but his last full-fledged tour took place in 2018. That year he also released “100% Fresh” on Netflix, marking his first comedy special in 20 years.

“From start to finish, ‘100% Fresh’ is Adam Sandler at his best,” A review from Ben Boskovich for Esquire declares. “It’s a music-heavy special that stays relatable and induces crying on both ends of the spectrum. Sandler’s characters range from a grown man pissing in his shower (crying laughing) to a guy who really misses his good friend Chris Farley (just crying). During the Farley tribute, Sandler emits emotion like you’ve never seen from the 51-year-old comedy fixture. It’s the second to last song of the special, and its undoubtedly a shining moment.”

With the promise of an evening devoted to Sandler’s “unique brand of comedy and song,” the 2022 fall tour launches Oct. 20 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

Stops include UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York; PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida and PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. The last show on the routing is Nov. 14 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia.

Presales begin Thursday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. local time. The general onsale starts Friday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. local time.

Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for Sandler include his June 29, 2019, show at Amalie Arena that sold 7,619 tickets and grossed $695,159.
