Live Nation Acquires Majority Stake In Goodlive
Live Nation GSA today announced the acquisition of a majority stake in German promoter and booking agency Goodlive GmbH, which is headquartered in Berlin.
In a press release sent out today, Live Nation stated it has acquired the shares from former Goodlive stakeholder Paragon Partners, as well as from the Goodlive founders.
Goodlive GmbH is the promoter of some of Germany’s most popular festivals, including Splash, Melt, and Superbloom, which just celebrated a sold-out premiere in Munich, Sept. 3-4, welcoming 50,000 people.

The company also has departments handling tour booking, festival production, and other services, which will “enrich” Live Nation’s businness in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, according to the release.
Live Nation GSA head Andre Lieberberg welcomed the Goodlive team into the Live Nation family, saying acquisition complemented Live Nation’s portfolio perfectly. “I look forward to the upcoming collaboration with Goodlive and am very confident that we will realize new and exciting projects together,” he said.
The Goodlive team and Live Nation worked together in the past, including on the German edition of Lollapalooza. Goodlive CEO Mirko Roßner said, he was looking forward to all the joint projects the future would bring.
