Arctic Monkeys Announce 2023 UK Stadium Tour

Arctic Monkeys are taking on stadiums for their UK tour dates taking place next May. The Hives will join the band for the newly-announced shows.

Kicking off in Bristol’s Ashton Gate Stadium on May 29, the tour will see stops at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, two nights at Hillsborough Park in the band’s hometown of Sheffield, two shows at Emirates Stadium in London and more before wrapping up at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on June 25.

Throughout the summer, the band made numerous festival appearances including Primavera Sound Los Angeles, Life Is Beautiful, Electric Picnic, Leeds Festival, Reading Festival and more. The band then kicked off their current tour on Sept. 22 with a show at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York.

In 2019, the Arctic Monkeys toured the globe with highlights including a sold-out show at Foro Sol in Mexico City, grossing $3.4 million, two nights at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena selling a total of 20,110 tickets grossing $1.3 million, and two sold-out nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena grossing $1.3 million.

This November, Arctic Monkeys will be heading to South America with shows in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Bogota and more before heading up to Mexico for several nights in Mexico City’s Corona Capital. The band will then return to Australia for the first time since 2019 in December with two shows in Victoria, Byron Bay, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and more before wrapping up in Sydney on Jan. 14.

Arctic Monkeys will be releasing their seventh studio album, The Car, on Oct. 21. The lead single from the record, “There’d Better Be a Mirrorball,” was already released.

Tickets for the newly announced UK shows go on sale starting Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. local time.
