Fitz And The Tantrums Announce ‘Let Yourself Free Tour’
Fitz and The Tantrums have announced their fifth studio album, Let Yourself Free, will be released via Elektra Records on Nov. 11, and the band has unveiled their winter tour dates supporting the record.
Kicking off on Jan. 21 at Portland, Oregon’s Roseland Theater, the upcoming Fitz and The Tantrums trek will see shows in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, Detroit, New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Nashville and more before wrapping up in Ft. Lauderdale’s Culture Room on Feb. 16.
“We are so excited for the world to hear our fifth studio album,” Michal “Fitz” Fitzpatrick, frontman of Fitz and The Tantrums, said in a statement. “For this record we really wanted to pull from our earliest influence and bring the through line of this band full circle. Tracks like ‘Silver Platter’ and ‘Steppin’ On Me’ really are a nod to our first album, Pickin’ up the Pieces, while tracks like ‘Moneymaker’ take that influence and blast it into the future.”
The upcoming 17-date tour will see support from BabyJake, with tickets being made available to the public beginning Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. local time.
