Dead & Company Announce Final Tour

Dead & Company’s final tour will hit 19 U.S. cities in the summer of 2023.

The tour kicks off with back-to-back dates at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., May 19 and 20. The 28-show tour includes stadium plays in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Boulder, Colo., and San Francisco. The July 14 and 15 shows at Oracle Park in San Francisco conclude the tour. The band – Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti – will perform two sets of music drawing from the Grateful Dead’s historic catalog of songs. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Oct 14th at 10 a.m. local time through deadandcompany.com.

Advance presale registration is open here and the presale begins Oct. 12 at noon local time and runs through Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. local time.

The band’s most recent tour included two shows at New York’s Citi Field, grossing $8,109,870 on 60,803 tickets, according to reports submitted to Pollstar Box Office. The band also sold-out three shows at the Hollywood Bowl Oct. 29-31, 2021, grossing $5,026,429.

The band grossed $50.2 million in 2021, ranking No. 5 on Pollstar’s Year End Worldwide Tours chart.
