350,000 Tickets In GSA: Depeche Mode Adds Euro Dates

Depeche Mode just announced the band’s first tour in five years, the “Memento Mori World Tour,” kicking off March 23 at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center.

The tour will also visit Germany, Austria and Switzerland as part of its European leg, three markets where more than 350,000 tickets got snatched up in no time, according to promoter Live Nation.

Hence dates have in added, one at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park, July 1, in addition to the original June 29 show, and one at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, July 9, in addition to the original July 7 date.

Depeche Mode fans in the Netherland’s also get a second chance to see the band perform at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, where a May 18 concert has been added to the originally announced concert on May 16.
